On his home planet Earth, Agent Carr was a revered master of Krav Maga, the 'no rules' art of face-to-face street combat. With his superhuman senses, lightning-fast reflexes and advanced stealth techniques, Agent Carr simply cannot be caught off-guard. A cautious man who leaves nothing to chance, Carr is also well-schooled in the art of weaponry. He usually carries a gun and a long sword, both gifts from Vydar, his Valkyrie General. Agent Carr is the strong, silent type who asks few questions, and answers even fewer.[1]

History[]

Agent Carr unwraps a chocolate bar

Agent Carr opens his last chocolate bar in the Animated Commercial.

In New York, in the year 2210 A.D., Agent Carr was emptying his jacket of contents in his apartment. He removed a chocolate bar, and unwrapped it, but before he could enjoy it, he was summoned by Vydar into Valhalla. He was unaware that the Twilight Clan, led by Isamu, was secretly hiding in his apartment, waiting to strike.[2]

After this, according to his bio, he was given the Sword of Reckoning and his laser gun.

Later, he would stand on a bank at night overlooking a storm, alongside Deathwalker 9000, Grimnak, and some Izumi Samurai, indicating that some of his missions from Vydar had him working alongside Utgar and Einar's units, who were allied at a point.[3]

Agent Carr takes his shot.

Near to this time, he would fire his laser gun at a stone column, attempting to bring it down on Sgt. Drake Alexander's head. Drake was rescued by Raelin before it could collapse, however.[4]

Additional Information[]

"Agent Carr is a man of great power, and has many weapons in his arsenal," notes Hasbro's FAQ strategy guides. Like several other figures from Rise of the Valkyrie, he received 'strategy tips' on Heroscape.com. These can be found in the Book of Agent Carr on Heroscapers.com.

The moment in the Animated Commercial where he unwraps a chocolate bar and is summoned to Valhalla prompted many fans to wonder if the chocolate was poisoned. Hasbro's FAQ had this to say on the matter:

“In the first commercials for Heroscape, we showed what happened to many of the Heroes just prior to them being transported to Valhalla. Most were locked in combat and were teleported just before their demise. Carr however, was about to eat a Candy Bar when he was teleported. Many people have asked how Carr would have been destroyed while eating a Candy Bar. No, the Candy Bar was not poisoned. In reality, Carr’s archrivals, the Twilight Clan were hidden throughout his apartment, ready to pounce under orders from their shadowy leader Isamu. Not much is known about him because he disappeared shortly after Agent Carr… His whereabouts are unknown.”[2]

The year 2210 A.D. is a favorite of designer Craig Van Ness's. He formerly set an entire Risk title there. Risk 2210 A.D. also mentions the Microcorp faction; thus, it is possible that the Microcorp Agents share Agent Carr's time period.[5]
