The Axegrinders of Burning Forge were Dwarf Fighters released in Wave 9: Blackmoon's Siege - Heroes of the Moon Tribe. As this wave came out after Wizard of the Coast's acquisition of Heroscape and subsequent shutdown of updates to Heroscape.com, the Axegrinders' bio was written by then-Heroscape writer Colby Dauch but never released to the public, and so we know relatively little about these characters.[1]

History[]

At some point in their lifetimes, the Axegrinders of Burning Forge were summoned from Feylund by the Valkyrie Aquilla into Valhalla, and presumably aided her Kyrie of the Moon Tribe in repelling the marro forces in Ticalla in the aftermath of Swarm of the Marro.

Additional Info[]

Prior to Migol and the Axegrinders being released, there had been much excitement for fantasy Dwarves to reach Heroscape back when the first reveals for Wave 6 were shown. However, this turned out to be Eldgrim, a Viking Champion.

FAQ's[]
