History[]

After being found near death by Jandar, Kelda was healed, and given the opportunity to drink from a wellspring which has infused her with healing powers and made her one of the prominent healers among Jandar's forces. She nursed Sgt. Drake back to health after his arrival in Valhalla.[2]

She would be seen flying with Jandar, Concan, and Tyrian across the Sigling Sea to meet Thormun, and be present as Jandar gave Thormun the mission to meet with Ullar, Vydar and Einar and form the Alliance. She embarked with Thormun, Concan and Tyrian to the Great Castle of Ullar, and dined with him as Ullar accepted the terms of the Alliance. The group met several of the beings Ullar had summoned, including Syvarris, Jorhdawn, Kyntela Gwyn, Sonlen and Jotun.[3]

Kelda, along with Thormun, Concan, Tyrian, Ullar's right hand Beldun and an escort of Protectors of Ullar made their way for Ullar's second seaside stronghold to meet Atlaga. There they learned that a land bridge had been formed by volcanoes erupting in Volcarren, which had been identified as the source of the rising Marro threat. Afterward, the group continued to Anund, where they passed through several abandoned villages and were driven out of one after being accused of being 'warmongers', an event which troubled Thormun.[4]

The group entered Vydar's castle of Montfre Manor, and Kelda, Concan and Tyrian waited outside while Thormun and Beldun held an audience with Vydar. Vydar was initially reluctant to join the Alliance, but Thormun's moving words convinced him to join the cause and dispatch an army of Soulborgs to aid Ullar's blockade. Afterward, the group proceeded towards Einar's home of Lindesfarme, charting a path through Bleakwoode. They were ambushed by Shades of Bleakwoode, and when one of them possessed Tyrian, the kyrie was killed by Beldun. Kelda saved Thormun by dissipating a Shade with her spear, and then using her healing touch to mend his wounds.[4]

The group had a better reception with Einar, who welcomed them in to his Region and stated that their Alliance was already unspoken, although it was good to make it official. Einar sent them with a set of four servants carrying the Looking Glasses of Vaelentela, mirrors that would allow for the members of the Alliance to speak from across great distances and formulate their plans. The night after departing the Region, just after Kelda finished her watch, Thormun spotted a thief stealing bread from the camp while on watch duty. She stated once she had been caught that her name was Shiori, and she was running away from Einar's lands. Thormun saw fit to take her with them back towards Ekstrom, although Kelda was wary of her.[4]

FAQ's[]

  • HEALING TOUCH : Self Healing
    Can Kelda heal herself?
No, Kelda cannot heal herself. (Hasbro FAQ)[5]
  • HEALING TOUCH : Opponent’s Wounded Figures
Can Kelda use her healing touch on an opponent’s wounded Hero figure in an attempt to roll a 1 and inflict damage?
Yes, but that is a risky maneuver. If you roll higher than a 1, you would be bound by what is written on the card. You would then have to remove wound markers from your opponent’s wounded Hero figure. (Hasbro FAQ)[5]
