- Sweeping Sword Special Attack: Range 1 Attack 5.
Choose a figure to attack. Any figures adjacent to both Shurrak and the chosen figure are also affected by Sweeping Sword Special Attack. Roll attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense dice separately.
- Knockback 14:
When a small or meduim figure rolls defense dice and is not destroyed by a normal or special attack from Shurrak, immediately roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 14 or higher, you may Knockback that figure by placing it on any empty space within 3 clear sight spaces of Shurrak. The space must be on the same level as or lower than its current location. A figure moved by Knockback never takes any leaving engagement attack. A non-flying figure moved lower by Knockback can recieve any falling damage that may apply.
- Lava Resistant:
Shurrak never rolls for molten lava damage or lava field damage, and he does not have to stop on molten lava spaces.
- Ornak: Red Flag of Fury
As a Unique Hero that follows Utgar, Shurrak may benefit from Ornak’s Red Flag of Fury turn exchange ability.
- Terrain Benefits Received: Molten Lava and Lava Field
Lava Resistant – takes no damage and does not have to stop movement on lava hexes.
- Fire Elemental: Searing Intensity
Because of his Lava Resistant power, Shurrak is one of the few figures not affected by the Fire Elemental’s Searing Intensity.
Behind the Game
- Sweeping Sword Special Attack: Who is affected?
Which figures are affected by Shurrak’s Sweeping Sword Special Attack?
Besides the figure chosen for the attack, only figures that are adjacent to both Shurrak and the chosen figure are also affected and must roll defense dice, opponent figure, friendly figures, even your own figures. Figures that are adjacent to only Shurrak or only the chosen figure are not affected.
- Knockback 14: Clear path
If I roll successfully for Knockback 14, does there have to be a clear path to the space I want to put the defending figure?
Shurrak only has to be able to see the figure (within 3 clear sight spaces) to place it there. Other figures or obstacles do not prevent placement, but remember that the chosen space cannot be a higher level than the defending figure's original space.
Shurrak can be useful in molten lava maps. Sweeping Sword works especially well against squads. Knockback can be used to push the enemy units off cliffs or castle walls, forcing them into an extreme fall, hopefully to their death.
